Obituary
Isabelle J. Broomall Brown, 89, formerly of Folsom, died October 9, 2012 at Park House Providence Pointe.
Born in Philadelphia, she lived in Clifton Heights and Folsom before moving to her late residence.
She was a Registration Clerk in the Emergency Department at Delaware County Memorial Hospital for 32 years, retiring in 1987 and prior to that was an operator for Bell Telephone and a Dispatcher for Yellow Cab Company.
Isabelle was a graduate of Sell-Perk High School, Class of 1942 and was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church. She had a wonderful sense of humor, enjoyed ceramics, reading, board and card games, old movies, crocheting, knitting and also tutored English.
Isabelle was wife of the late John B. Brown, her husband of 42 years, who died in 1991, mother of the late Thomas Edward Brown who died in 1962, daughter of the late Samuel T. and Philomena Smith Brown and sister of the late Harry S., Samuel and William Broomall.
Survivors: her children Mary E. Brown, Martha "Marty" A. Meadows (Gary), and James S. Brown (Colette); also six grandchildren.
Funeral Mass 1:00PM Monday, October 15, 2012 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park, PA 19033.
Visitation 11:45 to 12:45PM at the Church. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
