Isabelle E. Barbiers (nee Burnetski),100 of Swarthmore died on June 16, 2024.  Born in Naticoke, PA the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Avulis Burnetski, she lived in Wilkes-Barre before moving to Swarthmore in 1957.
Isabelle was a graduate of G.A.R. High School, class of 1942 and had previously been employed as a salesperson for Avon.  She was a member of Notre Dame de Lourdes R.C. Church and was a founding member of the Notre Dame de Lourdes Seniors.  She enjoyed gardening, bowling, ballroom dancing, cooking and baking but most important was her loving family.  Her daughter said that her mother had a "life well lived."
She was the wife of the late Michael G. Barbiers who died on April 2,1992 after 46 years of marriage, the mother of Jane Falkowski (Michael) grandmother of David Falkowski, mother of the late Michael Barbiers, Jr., sister of the late Joseph Burnetski, Jr., Stella Parulis and John Burnetski.
Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Thursday at St. John Chrysostom R.C. Church, 617 S. Providence Road, Wallingford, PA  19086 where relatives and friends may call 9:30 to 10:15 AM.  Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
