Irene Mae Guzowski, 92 of Holmes, PA passed away on Friday May 30, 2025, at her home she shared with her daughter and son-in-law (the son she always wanted). Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Gabart Charles and Jessica Irene Langdale Connor, she lived in Southwest Philadelphia before selling her home in 1998 to become a traveling gypsy, enjoying quality time spent with her daughters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Irene had worked as a waitress in the neighborhood for many years at the Avenue Restaurant in Southwest Philadelphia before her retirement. She always worked close to home to have an eye on her three girls. Widowed in 1975, she was both mother and father and ran a strict house. She lived her life for her girls. Her parents were never far away. Irene enjoyed crocheting for every occasion for that special handmade gift, dancing, crafts, gardening, vacations, walks in Cape May, collecting her dolls, fixing things and loved her music. Good at so many things. Her special loves were all the animals, especially all her grand doggies who were always under her feet and checked in on her at night. Family was the most important part of her life. It is all about family, unwavering love. Proud smiles and adoring love for those grand and great-grand babies. Visits made her so happy!

Mom was the ♥heart♥ of the family.

Wife of the late Michael B. Guzowski of Peabody, Massachusetts. Mother of Barbara J. Kuzan (Nicholas), Colleen L. Aaron (Michael) and Darlene F. Stackhouse (Joseph). Grandmother of Jessica Aaron, Matthew Kuzan, Christopher Aaron, Dustin Kuzan, Robert Stackhouse, Ryan Kuzan, Shaun Stackhouse, Nicole Kuzan, Lauren Stackhouse Thom, Charles Stackhouse and Amber Ahern. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren. Irene was the last of five siblings. Predeceased by her three brothers Gabart Charles, Charles Thomas and Robert James and her toddler sister, Viola Jean. Always in our hearts. ♥

A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 11 AM. Burial private.
