Hildegard "Hilde" C. Foltz

Hildegard "Hilde" C. Foltz, 84 of Lester died on January 18, 2026. Born in Germany, the daughter of the late Heinrich and Phillipina Kaster Koestel, she and her family immigrated to the United States in 1949. Hilde was raised in Philadelphia and has been a resident of Lester for over 64 years.

Hilde was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School, class of 1959. For many years she worked along with her husband as the office manager of Dutch's Automotive and had previously worked at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque R.C. Church. Hilde was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church and of the Ladies Auxiliary in the Tinicum Township Fire Department. She loved playing bingo and spending time at her home in Lancaster, but most important was her loving family.

She was the loving wife of the late Frederick J. Foltz, mother of Linda M. Foltz Parendier and the late Robert "Bob" Foltz (Donna), grandmother of Stephanie Hertz (Andrew), George Ferguson (Alysa), Anthony Foltz, Rebecca Foltz, Nicholas Parendier and Tyler Parendier and she was also the great-grandmother of Blaise Michael Ferguson and Maggie Josephine Hertz.

Funeral Mass 11 AM Friday, February 13, 2026 at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone where relatives and friends may call after 10 AM. Burial private.
