Henry Robert Hopkins, Jr. "Bob" 62 of Aston Township passed away peacefully at his home on August, 6, 2012.

Born in Chester, Bob was son of the late Henry Robert and Helen Otto Hopkins, was raised in Concord Township and has lived in Aston for the past 41 years.


He was a graduate of Garnet Valley High School, Kutztown University (B.S.) and West Chester University (M.S.)


Bob was a High School Science teacher in the Interboro School District for 33 ½ years, retiring in 2005.


He was a member of Elam United Methodist Church, Chester Lodge #236, F.&A.M, the Building Committee of the Four Winds Condo in Sea Isle City, NJ and the Delaware County Birding Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, geocaching, and birding.


Survivors: his wife of 41 years Karen H. Partyka Hopkins; his children Robert Brian Hopkins (Stephanie), and Jill Ann McAdams (Michael); his sisters Kathryn Helen Hopkins Murphy and Bonnie Lynn Hopkins Powell; grandchildren Ian Robert Hopkins and Dylan Michael McAdams.

Smithbridge Rd., Glen Mills, PA. Visitation Friday 7:00 to 9:00PM at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston with a Masonic Service at 8:00PM and Saturday 9:30 to 10:15AM at the Church. Burial in the adjoining church cemetery.
