Helene was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School and been employed as an Administrative Assistant at McKesson Chemical before her retirement.  She was a member of the Church of St. Madeline as well as the Sodality.

She was mother of the late S. Kirk Misner, sister of Joan Amicone and the late Marie Meighan and Edward Lacovara,  mother-in-law of Colleen M. Boyle, aunt of the late Janice Lacovara, she is also survived by four nephews, eight nieces and several great-nieces and nephews.
