Helen B. Shade, 93 of Folsom died on February 13, 2024.  Born in Norwood, the daughter of the late Raymond C. and Sadie Moran Bewley, she lived in Norwood and Ridley Park before moving to Folsom in 1982.
Helen was a graduate of GlenNor High School and was a member of Ridley Park United Methodist Church.  She was also a member of the Retired Oil Worker's Seniors and enjoyed crocheting and reading.  Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, was the most important part of Helen's life.
She was the wife of the late Edward L. Shade, Sr. who died on January 16, 2018 after 64 years of marriage, mother of Nancy S. Ripley (William) and Edward L. Shade, Jr., (Michele), grandmother of William (Maura), Nicholas (Kim), Rebecca (Nickesh), Kevin (Rachel) and Brian (Kailyn), great-grandmother of James and Drew, sister of the late Raymond C. Bewley, Jr., she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service 10:30 AM Friday, February 16, 2024 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 9:30 AM.  Burial Lawn Croft Cemetery.
