Helen A. Brodzinski Knight, of Aston, died January 12, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Knight has been a resident of Aston for 54 years, previously residing in Claymont, DE.
Mrs. Knight and her late husband founded Knight Bros., Inc. in 1948 and the company is still operated by their son. She was a member of The Church of St. Joseph, the Ladies Guild and was very devoted to her faith. She was also a member of the Aston Business & Professional Assoc., Pennsylvania Nurserymen's Association; International Society of Arboriculture and Who's Who in Nationwide Register of Executive and Business Professionals. Mrs. Knight was dedicated to her business and devoted to her family.
Mrs Knight was wife of the late Martin T. Knight who died April 21, 1986 after 45 years of marriage; mother of the late Barbara J. Brown who died February 25, 2010; sister of the late John "Swede" Brodzinski, Emma Rumford, Carolyn Kokoszka and Alfreda "Peda" Venish; grandmother of the late Katie E. Knight who died August 23, 1989 and Timothy Martin Kuhl who died June 24, 2001.
Survivors: Her children Beverly Morgan of Glen Mills and Martin T. Knight (Janice) of Aston; brothers Theodore Brodzinski (Joan) of Brookhaven and Walter Brodzinski (Norma) of Wilmington, DE; also six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass: 10 AM Monday at The Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston, PA 19014
Visitation: 6 to 9 PM Sunday and 8:15 to 9:15 AM Monday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Road, Aston.
Burial: Edgewood Memorial Park.
