Helen C. Doherty (nee Miller), 95, of Secane, died on September 22, 2023 at her home.  Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen Bair Miller.
Helen was a member of Aldan Union Church where she was a Sunday School worker in the Beginners department and also a member of the Widow and Widowers Club.  She enjoyed sewing, ceramics and reading, but most importantly she was devoted to her home, family and many friends.
She was the loving wife of the late Thomas G. "Bud" Doherty, devoted mother of Marilyn J. Cook (late R. Milton) and Robert T. Doherty (former daughter-in-laws Barbara Schreiber and Mary-Ann Corbett), grandmother of Robert T. Doherty, Jr. (Jeanette), Joyce Cook Haseltine (Todd), David Cook (Laura) and Evan Doherty (Sydney), she is also survived by three great-grandchildren and was sister of the late Edna Miller.
Memorial Service 11 AM, Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Aldan Union Church, 7 E. Providence Rd, Aldan, PA 19018 where relatives and friends may call after 10 AM.
