Helen P. Halvorsen Brown, 85 of Aston, died August 15, 2013 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center. Born in Chester, daughter of the late Olaf J. and Agnes Miles Halvorsen, Mrs. Brown had been a resident of Aston since 1952.

Helen was a member of Trainer United Methodist Church. She was previously employed as a waitress at the Court Diner and was last employed as a housekeeper at West Chester University for 14 years, during that time she received her high school diploma which she was very proud of. She took great pride in all of her family.

Helen was wife of the late Earl D. Brown, Sr., who died in 1996 after 49 years of marriage, mother of the late Earl D. Brown, Jr., and sister of the late Mildred Fulmer, Carrie Koechart, Grace, Olaf, Jr., Will and Charles Halvorsen.

Survivors: daughters Nancy A. Scull (Raymond) and Elizabeth K. Easley (Dennis); her twin sisters Dorothy Loeffler and Estelle Herrman; brother Terrance Halvorsen; also seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Wednesday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston where friends may call after 10 AM. Burial Mount Hope Cemetery.
