Obituary

Helen A. Huber Biester, 95, of Ridley Park, died January 23, 2019 at Hospice House at Ridley Park. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Anne Durning Huber and moved to her late residence 65 years ago.

Helen was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls, class of 1941 and was a member of the Church of St. Madeline, where she was a daily communicant and part of the Sodality. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and Taylor Hospital. Helen was a member of the Ridley Park Seniors and Young at Heart. She was a caregiver for anyone who needed help, but most important was her family.

Helen was predeceased by her husband, Albert Biester, Jr., who died in 1991; and her siblings, Jack Huber, Eugene Huber and Margaret Moore.

She is survived by her children, Thomas Biester (Bea), Joanne Lloyd (Dennis), Dr. Robert Biester (Cindy) and Richard Biester (Elaine); 12 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Church of St. Madeline, 400 Morton Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, where relatives and friends may call from 8:45-9:45 AM.

Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
