Harry R. Pettyjohn, Jr., 71, of Glenolden died November 10, 2018 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Harry R. and Eleanor McAnnally Pettyjohn and resided in Holmes before moving to his late residence 43 years ago.

Harry was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School, class of 1965 and served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a Salesman for Saturn of Westbrook Park from 1999-2009 and previously was a Police Officer for Lower Merion Police Department from 1970-1983. Harry was a member of the F.O.P. and loved studying and sharing the Bible. He enjoyed fishing, cars, TV and telling long stories. Most important to Harry was his love of God and his family.

He was the husband of Suzanne "Babs" Courchaine Pettyjohn, his wife of 48 years; father of Harry R. Pettyjohn, III, Joseph A. Pettyjohn (Misty), Amy Pettyjohn, Tracy Pettyjohn Cederfeldt (Craig), Bethany Ann Pettyjohn and Timothy James Pettyjohn; brother of Eileen Milligan (James) and Joyce Weissert (Bill); grandfather of Eleanor, Olivia, Joseph, Lance, Abigail, Kacie, Matthew, Michael and Daniel; also survived by his sisters-in-law, Joanie (Late Roy), Dottie, Kitty (Bobby), Jeannie (Late Rob) and the late Patty; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, where relatives and friends may call from 8:00-10:00 AM.
