Gustino Stanley Sisofo passed away on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Riddle Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was 85.

Born in Philadelphia to the late Jean Szewczyk and John Sisofo, Gus graduated from West Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Pa. Following graduation, Gus enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam war.

In 1965, he met the love of his life, MaryAnn Daniele. They were married for 57 years. Together they raised their family in Boothwyn, Pa., in a loving home where no one who ever visited left hungry.

Gus and MaryAnn enjoyed spending time with family, music, and dancing. One of his greatest joys in life was fishing, and he spent whatever time he could catching fish off his boat at his favorite place — Duck Neck Campground in Maryland. He loved taking his friends and family along for the ride.

Gus retired from the Sunoco Refinery in Marcus Hook, Pa.

Gus and MaryAnn were former members of Holy Savior Church in Linwood, Pa.

Gus is survived by his children Ed Kuszmaul (Maria) and daughter Gina Madison (Don); and his three grandsons, Kevin Kuszmaul, Tyler and Dylan Madison; along with many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife MaryAnn (2022), and his brother, John Sisofo (2021).

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 2, 2025 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friend may call after 10 AM.
