Gregory J. Boris

Gregory J. Boris, 79, a lifelong resident of Swarthmore died on July 11, 2026. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Ridley Park, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna Yankovoy Boris.

Greg was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1964 and received a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Widener University. He enjoyed a long career as a Chemist at Evonik and Kurz-Hastings, Inc. before his retirement in 2017. Greg loved technology and computers, enjoyed trips to Rehoboth Beach and watching science movies. He also loved animals, especially his cat Kokomo.

He was the loving husband of 26 years to Leslie L. Edwards Boris, the father of Judith Boris (Geary Hower) and Gregory J. Boris, Jr. and he was the brother of Sandra Fedec (late Alex) and Joanne Stover (late James).

Services and burial will be held privately.
