Quinnie was born on November 15, 1926 in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania to Beulah Anderson and Graham Miller Quinn. He started playing practical jokes at a very young age, one of the most memorable to his family being the evening he returned home from the Taylor Hospital May Fair with a duck, which he lovingly placed in his sister, Grace's, bed.

He was honorably discharged after two years of service and then spent thirty years working as a draftsman for General Electric, where he played on the softball team and bowling league. Upon retirement from GE, Quinnie joined the Ridley Park Borough, where he was again well known for his practical jokes.
Quinnie married Maryanna Clark in April 8, 1950, who predeceased him in 1978.
Quinnie was a long time resident of Ridley Park and lived in recent years in Stone Harbor New Jersey. He was an active member of the American Legion in both Ridley Park and Stone Harbor, New Jersey.
Quinnie loved to dance and loved sports. He was a life long fan of Ridley Sports, particularly basketball and football – never missing a Thanksgiving football game or his grandaughter's volleyball games and track meets.
Quinnie is preceded in death by parents, Beaulah (Anderson) and Graham Miller Quinn; and siblings Grace Schaub (Quinn), Nathan Miller Quinn and Lane Quinn.
Quinnie is survived by his children, Judith Quinn and Thomas Quinn both of Ridley Park; his grandchildren, Carolynn Scott Kranz (Stephen), Thomas Quinn and Alexis Quinn (Demitri); and four Great Grandchildren (Colton, Alela, Reed and Riley); and other beloved friends and relatives.
