Grace F. Van Horn Bishop, 70, of Aston, went home to be with her Savior, on November 2, 2014, surrounded by family at Taylor Hospice.
Born in Philadelphia, Grace held many jobs, but mainly known as a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Grace was a charter member and served for many years in the Philly Deaf Church, which began in 1995. She taught many women and children, serving on the worship team and cooking meals. She led a monthly Women's Bible study at Valley View Senior Nursing Center. She was a trustworthy friend and a spiritual encouragement to all and will be greatly missed.
Survived by her husband of 50 years, Dale C. Bishop; brother, Wilson Van Horn; children, Clint, Tim and Melody; and grandchildren, Emily, Morgan, Tyler, Colin, Ethan, Matthew and Luke.
Service: 10 AM, Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Philly Deaf Church, 3301 S. 20th St., Philadelphia, PA 19145, with a luncheon to follow.
