Obituary
Gloria D. Zimmerman Dempsey, 86 of Essington, died August 12, 2011 at Taylor Hospital.
She was last worked for Bell Telephone Company and Westingouse Corporation. Mrs. Dempsey was a member of St. John Tinicum Memorial Lutheran Church. She was known as a great baker. Mrs. Dempsey had a deep devotion to her family.
She was wife of the late Earl V. Dempsey, her husband of 58 years, who died February 5, 2003, daughter of the late Leon and Parmelia Lavalle Zimmerman and sister of the late Bud Zimmerman and Alice Lenhardt.
Survivors: her children Earl G. Dempsey and Gloria J. Ricciardi, her sisters Geneva Taylor and Dorothy Cliffe, and also six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service: 11:00AM Saturday at St. John Tinicum Memorial Lutheran Church, 601 Seneca Ave., Essington, PA 19029 where friends may call after 10:00AM. Burial Private.
