Devoted to her family, Gladys found time to serve as a volunteer with the Girl Scouts, Our Lady of Peace Elementary School Cafeteria, and the Ridley Township Public Library, as her children were growing up. She was known as an excellent cook and homemaker. In the 1960's, Gladys became a longtime employee of General Electric Company, working as a secretary in Philadelphia, Collingdale and Malvern.
