Geraldine Nucho (nee Daniel), 94, passed away on November 11, 2015 surrounded by her family.

Born in Lamar, Colorado, she was raised in Garden City, Kansas. She was a graduate of Garden City High School and Fort Hayes State College.

A retired teacher, her career spanned more than 35 years, starting in a one room schoolhouse, then teaching Health and Physical Education at Media and Marcus Hook High Schools, and finally as an elementary classroom teacher in Tinicum Township, PA. After retirement she continued to employ her teaching skills with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Geraldine was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Samy K. Nucho, whom she met while he was stationed at Fort Hayes, Kansas during World War II, and a brother Gaylord Daniel of Salt Lake City, Utah.

She is survived by her children, Deryl Jean Naumowich ( Jim ), Nadine Lynne Blizzard, Samy S. Nucho, and John Daniel Nucho, and a brother John Daniel of Garden City, Kansas; five grandchildren: Dawn Malseed-Sooy, Carrie Reagan, Stephen Naumowich, Donald Blizzard, and Damon Blizzard; eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.

Geraldine was a resident of Ridey Park for the last 70 years and was a member of the Ridley Park United Presbyterian Church, Ridley Park Young at Heart, and the Schoolhouse Senior Center.

Memorial Service 11:00AM Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call after 10:00AM. Burial private.
