Geraldine E. "Gerri" Thompson, 78, of Secane died July 30, 2020 at Vitas Hospice at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital.  Born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Luigi and Elvira Frederico Cuccinello, she had lived in Philadelphia before moving to her late residence 20 years ago.

Gerri was employed as a Loan Collector at Wells Fargo Bank for over 30 years before retiring in 2006.  She was a "shopaholic" and loved the Phillies, Eagles, cooking and playing bingo with her friends, but most important was time spent with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Walter W. Thompson who died on April 8, 2009 and her brother Robert "Bobby" Cuccinello.

She is survived by her children; Donna Wagner (Daniel), Lisa Gray (Michael) and Walter W. Thompson, Jr. (Valerie), her grandchildren; D.J. Wagner, Walt Thompson, III, Michael Gray and Maria Gray also seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass 11 AM Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at The Church of St. Madeline, 400 Morton Avenue, Ridley Park where friends may call 9:45 to 10:45 AM.  Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
