Gerald E. Connors 92 of New Holland, died August 23, 2014 at Garden Spot Village. Born in Pittsburgh, he lived in Clifton Heights for 53 years before moving to New Holland in 2003. Gerald was an office manager at St. George's Episcopal Church for six years. He was a graduate of Perry High School in Pittsburgh, class of 1940 and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. Gerald was a member of Herbert W. Best VFW Post #7213 in Folsom, Prospect Masonic Lodge #578 F.&A.M. and the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Lodge, Council Chapter Consistory. He enjoyed sports and building model trains.

He was husband of the late Elizabeth "Bette" McKnight Connors, his wife of 62 years, who died in 2008 and son of the late Earl D. and Mable L. Link Connors.

He is survived by his sister Clara M. Remele, three nieces and longtime friend Doris Ritchings.

Memorial Service 10AM Wednesday at The Community Church at Garden Spot Village.
