Of Ridley Park, PA. Husband of the late Anne Katein (nee Schreiber), father of Patricia K. Ward, M. Clare McCarroll, Frederick A. Katein, Jr., Helen K. Purdy and Ann Marie Katein. Brother of C. Robert Katein, Loretta Grace, Alma Delaney, George Katein, Connie Katein and the late Allen Katein. Also survived by eight grandchildren; grandfather of the late Kevin F. Katein.
Funeral Mass 10 AM Monday, March 30, 2009 at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn Street and Morton Avenue, Ridley Park. Burial St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 7 to 9 PM at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Avenue, Ridley Park.
