Franklin C. "Frank" Stevens of Aston, PA passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at the age of 92. Born in Upper Darby in 1931, he returned to Delaware County in 1952 following his military service and shortly after began working for the Defense Personnel Support Center in Philadelphia where he helped pioneer their computer programming department before retiring in 1991, ending his 30-year career as a project manager. Frank was also a mainstay at Briggs Auction in Garnet Valley, PA, manning the office during each Friday evening auction before retiring after 50+ years.

He and his wife of 58 years, Susan C. Stevens (neé Toler) married in 1965, and together they raised three children, son William "Bill" Stevens (Elizabeth), and daughters Leah Stevens and Michele (Tom) Santarelli. "Frankie" was also a doting grandfather to his five grandchildren, Bryan and Claire Stevens, and Joseph, Renée, and Stephanie Santarelli.

Frank loved nothing more than spending time with his family, especially summer vacations in North Wildwood, NJ, and was happiest when surrounded by relatives. He was also an avid Philadelphia sports enthusiast, and rooting for (and being exasperated by) the Eagles and the Phillies were favorite pastimes.

Visitation and a Celebration of Frank's life will take place on Saturday, July 22 starting at 11AM at Kings Mills in Aston, PA. Burial will be private

In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's name may be made to Philabundance or to the Social Service Memorial Honor Fund of the PA Association of School Retirees (PASR.org).
