Frank M. Schrier Jr. 59 of Canton passed away October 18th at Crozer Chester Medical Center with family by his side. Born in Salem, NJ to the late Frank M Schrier Sr. and Kay Hauser Schrier.

Frank was a lifelong resident of Salem County where he worked the family farm with his grandfather as a young boy and became an avid sportsman on the meadow trapping, crabbing and hunting snapper turtles. Frank went on to own and operate the family farm though out his life. Working the land was his favorite labor and past time. Right out of school he began his career working at Mannington Mills and retired after 28 years of service. With a strong desire to travel, Frank began truck driving as an owner operator for GHL Leasing (Uncle Carl Schrier) and then with SJ Transportation where he marked up over a million miles. Frank traveled throughout the US, Canada, China and Thailand. He enjoyed sharing his outrageous and delightful stories with co-workers, friends and family. Most recently he was employed by Agro Merchants North America. Frank earned his black belt, held an airplane pilot license and loved working on his antique tractors. He enjoyed reading, watching movies, cooking and hanging out with the loves of his life Daisy Mae and Ruby who both shared many of miles on the truck with him.

He is survived by his mother Kay Schrier, daughter Crystal Schrier, 3 brothers- Donald, Wayne, (Diane), Keith. 2 sisters- Kathy Kowalski (Bill), Norma Maranzano – 4 grandchildren- Nicholas, Kylie Savanna, Sara, and Asia- numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as his beloved companions, Daisy Mae and Ruby. Frank was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He will sadly be missed by all who love him.

He was preceded in death by all grand-parents, his father, Frank Schrier Sr., his son Jeffery Lacy and his brother Jerry Ridgway.

Memorial Services will be held at Canton Baptist Church, 700 Smick Rd., Canton NJ on Saturday, October 29th at 11 am. Luncheon will follow in the Rectory. Everyone is welcomed. Interment is private.
