Frank Anthony Lacontora, 64, of Ridley Park, died October 29, 2018 at Taylor Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John and Dora (Pinto) Lacontora.
He was the husband of Julie (Meiler) Lacontora for 37 years, and the father of three children, Patricia A. Lacontora, Frank A. "Tony" Lacontora, Jr. (Tara), and Richard A. Lacontora. He was the grandfather of Kylie Kratzer and Hayley Lacontora. He leaves behind his siblings Josephine Sarasin, Dolores Lieb, John Lacontora, and Robert Lacontora, and was predeceased by the late Rocco Lacontora.
Frank was most recently employed by Giant, and previously worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an accountant. He was a member of the Ridley Park Presbyterian Church and was an ordained Deacon. Frank was a committee member for Boy Scout Troop #43 in Milmont Park. He enjoyed camping and coin collecting, but enjoyed spending time with his family the most.
A funeral service will be held at 1:45 PM Sunday, November 4, 2018 at the Ridley Park Presbyterian Church, 300 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078. Visitation is from 12:30-1:30 PM in the church parlor. Burial will be in the adjoining church Memorial Garden, followed by lunch in the church auditorium.
