Frank Kertis, Jr., 70 of Brandon, MS died on January 23, 2026. Born in Upland, the son of Frank Kertis, Sr. and the late Josephine Nied Kertis, he had lived in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Oklahoma before moving to Brandon.
Frank was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1973 and received a bachelor's degree from Villanova University and master's degree from Widener University. While living in Delaware County he had been employed by the Sun Oil Company and was a former member of the Ridley park Presbyterian Church. After moving to Oklahoma Frank worked at Quaker State Oil Company and owned and operated Visionary Enterprises.
Frank loved restoring and showing his old classic cars, he also enjoyed music and played the clarinet. Frank was always fun to spend time with, and he would light up a room with his laughter which is sorely missed by everyone 100%.
He was the loving husband of Kimberly Kertis, father of Gary M. Kertis (Polly), Daniel A. Kertis (Jamie) and Jeffrey A. Kertis (Brooke), step-father of Quintin (Summer), William (Katlin) and Amanda (Gene "Bear"), brother of William G. Kertis (Rose), Joanna Kertis, Stephen M. Kertis (Danielle) and the late Janet B. McElroy and John M. Kertis. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and one great-great-nephew.
Services and burial were held privately.
