Obituary

Frank A. Camerota, 87 of Glen Mills, died September 9, 2011 at Neighborhood Hospice, West Chester, PA.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a longtime resident of Primos before moving to his late residence four years ago.

Mr. Camerota was an assembler for General Electric Company for 31 years until his retirement in 1983.

He was a member of St. Eugene R.C. Church; a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and received the Bronze Star Medal, World War II Victory Medal and the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with four Bronze Stars.

Frank played for the Philadelphia Athletics farm team where he had the highest batting average during the 1948 season.
An avid golfer and Philadelphia sports fan, he was devoted to his wife and their family.

He was the son of the late Alfonso and Catherine Marion Camerota and brother of the late Christine Accetta and Angelina Young.

Survivors; his wife of 58 years, Virginia "Jean" Grasso Camerota, his son Tony F. Camerota (Patty), his sister Rita Incmiskosi and his grandchildren Catherine G. Camerota and Bobby Marvil.

Funeral Mass 11:00AM Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at St. Eugene R.C. Church, 200 S. Oak Ave., Primos, PA where friends may call 9:30 to 10:45AM. Entombment SS. Peter and Paul Garden Mausoleum.
