Francis T. "Frank" "Bud" Franklin 80 of Morton died March 6, 2015 at Crozer Keystone Hospice at Taylor.
Born in Darby, Frank has been a resident of Morton since 1972. He worked for Mac and Sam Chrysler in Clifton Heights, retiring in 1972 and previously was parts manager for numerous Volkswagon Dealerships.
Frank was a member of the Volkswagon Parts Manager's Association; also an avid Phillies fan, was active with the Crohn's and Colitis organization, loved trains, 50's and 60's music, classic cars, trips to Lancaster County and shopping, but most important to him was time spent with his family.
Frank was husband of the late Marie E. Goldhahn Franklin who died in 1960; son of the late Warren G. and Virginia E. DeRose Franklin and brother of the late Virginia Jones, Jean Souden and Sharon Franklin.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol A. Kopp Franklin; his children Marie F. Aaron (Rex), Warren T. "Bud" Franklin (Cecelia) and Michael E. Franklin (Gwen); grandchildren Stephanie (Jason), Owen, Melanie (Steve), Amanda, Adam, Thomas, Anna Marie (Elvis), Frank and Elizabeth; great grandchildren Emma, Wesley, Ariana, Helena and London.
Funeral Service 11:00AM Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave, Ridley Park where friends may call after 10:00AM. Burial private.
