Francis J. "Frank" Larkin, Jr., 80 of Earleville, MD died March 10, 2016 at Seasons Hospice at Christiana. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Francis J. and Anna A. "Anne" Sherlock Larkin and resided in Drexel Hill before moving to Maryland 15 years ago.
Frank was employed by Bell Telephone Co./AT&T as a PBX Installer for 50 years before retiring in 2004. He served in the US Army and was a former member of St. Andrews R.C. Church in Drexel Hill. Frank was a member of IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers), he loved history and field training trips with his Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Ashley. Frank was devoted to his family, involved with his six children's activities and continued with his cherished grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sister, Maryrita Larkin.
Survivors: loving husband of Carol A. Loranger Larkin, his wife of 56 years; devoted father of Patricia Larkin, Michael Larkin (Kara), Denise Oberschmidt (Michael), John Larkin (Karen), Maryann Larkin and Kate Andrews (Bill); and cherished Pop Pop to William, Timothy, Nicole, Jennifer, Lauren, Cody, Kristen, Gracie, Rebecca, Madelyn and Joanna.
