Obituary

Francis L. "Coke" McKniff, 89 of Eddystone, died January 15, 2012 at Taylor Hospital.

Born and raised in Eddystone, he was son of the late John and Mary McKenna McKniff, and has lived at his late residence for the past 52 years.

Mr. McKniff worked as a custodian for the Ridley School District and previously was employed at Eddystone Print Works and Ceta at Penn State.

He was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church. He also bowled in leagues at the MacDade and Ridley Bowling Lanes and in the Senior Games. Mr. McKniff was a WWII U.S. Army veteran. He was aa Charter Member of the Eddystone American Legion Post 844.

He was brother of the late John McKniff, Jr., James McKniff, Helen Emmi and Madeline Laird.

Survivors: his wife of 52 years; Anne T. Radewonuk McKniff, his daughter; Anne T. McKniff, his brother; Joseph McKniff and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass 10:00AM Friday, January 20, 2012 at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone.
Visitation Friday from 9 to 9:45AM at the church. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
