Frances M. Schmelzer Drab, 89, of Middletown Township died September 8, 2017 at the home of her daughter. Born July 2, 1928 in San Francisco, CA, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Josephine Stanek Schmelzer and resided in Forest, VA before moving to her late residence 7 ½ years ago. Frances was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Joseph B. Drab, who died in 1995.

Frances was a graduate of San Francisco Catholic Girls School, class of 1946. She enjoyed flower arranging at Longwood Gardens, cooking, baking, golf, swimming, bridge, cross stitch, needle work, crafts and was active with the Girl Scouts.

Frances is survived by her children, Robert S. Drab (Patty), Debbie A. Deatrick (Will) and Linda C. Zerby (Late Paul); and her grandchildren, Jason Drab, Jessica Drab and Wesley Deatrick

A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 AM Monday, September 25, 2017 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston, PA 19014, where friends may call after 9:30 AM
