Frances J. McGowan Daly, 85
Devoted Mother and Grandmother

Frances J. McGowan Daly, 85 of Ridley Park, died March 10, 2012 at Crozer Keystone Hospice.

Born and reared in Philadelphia, she was daughter of the late John and Delia Carthy McGowan and has lived at her late residence since 1968.

Mrs. Daly was a custodian for the Ridley School District, retiring in 2006 and prior to that worked at the Philadelphia International Airport.

She was a member of the Church of St. Madeline.

Mrs. Daly was wife of the late Carl J. Daly, her husband of 27 years, who died on February 2, 1978 and also was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters.

Survivors: her children; Carl J. Daly, Jr., Daniel A. Daly (Rosemarie), William F. Daly (Debra) and JoAnn M. Gabriel (Ernest), also ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass 10:00AM Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park.

Visitation: 7:00 to 9:00PM Thursday and 8:15 to 9:15AM Friday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
