Frances Sheppard Dalessio, 80, of Crum Lynne, PA and West Wildwood, NJ died March 24, 2013 at Taylor Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Dalessio lived in South Philadelphia prior to moving to her late residence 58 years ago.
Frances was a graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School for Girls, Class of 1950. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church and the Collingdale Seniors.
Frances loved animals and enjoyed caring for people in need, her home and many friends in Wildwood, but most important was her devotion to her children, grandchildren and many friends.
She was wife of the late Nicholas A. Dalessio, mother of the late Nicholas A. Dalessio, Jr., daughter of the late James and Sarah McCartney Sheppard and sister of the late Anna Jocis, Evelyn Close, Louise Ferretti, Mary Jane "Midge" Cunningham and Regina Beretle.
Survivors: mother of Daniel Dalessio (Shellie) and David Dalessio (Katherine), also survived by her daughter-in-law Helen Dalessio with whom she made her home, and two granddaughters, Sarah A. and Jessica M. Dalessio.
Funeral Mass: 10 AM Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone
Visitation: 7 to 9 PM Monday and 8:30 to 9:15 AM Tuesday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park.
Burial: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery
