Frances Ellen Clark, 80, of Cochranville, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday October 11th at Chester County Hospital with her beloved husband Charles Clark at her side.

Frances, the youngest of two children was born on March 26th, 1943 to Francis Brown and Mabel Whitlock in Chester, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Chester High in 1961, Frances went on to work at Scott Paper, where she would retire after nearly four decades of service.

She and Charles met in 1964 at her 21st birthday party through mutual friends. As fate had it, they later wed on May 29th, 1965. Both Delaware county natives, Frances and Charles remained in the area where they raised their two children, Kelly and Charlie, surrounded by countless aunts, uncles and cousins. As a family they enjoyed weekends at the Jersey shore, cross country road trips and summers at White Sands pool. In 1976, life's next adventure awaited, and they moved to Cochranville, PA to pursue country living. Together they managed a 28-acre farm where they raised and trained horses, bred Labrador retrievers and spent countless weekends competing at horse shows.

Though Frances never rode horses, her inviting nature and gentle touch made her a favorite amongst all the family's animals, earning her the nickname of Saint Francis. Though strong willed and stubborn at times, Frances will be remembered by her fierce loyalty and unwavering patience. Her light shone bright everywhere she went touching the lives of all she encountered, leaving them better than she found them.

Frances' greatest title in life was "Mom-Mom," given to her by her three granddaughters. From dance recitals to horse shows and softball games, she supported them through it all. Her love was undeniable, and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband Charles Clark, daughter Kelly Clark, son Charlie Clark (Samantha Robinson) and grandchildren Cassidy, Cayleigh, and Caera Clark.

Services will be held at White-Luttrell Funeral Homes in Ridley Park, PA on Tuesday October 17th, 2023. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and will be followed by a service at 11:00 am.  Burial Mount Hope Cemetery.
