Florence E. McIntyre 95 of Springfield, died on May 7, 2021 at her home.

Born in Wilkes Barre, PA she lived in South Philadelphia before moving to her late residence 70 years ago.

She was the Assistant Librarian at St. Francis of Assisi School in Springfield.

Florence was a member of St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church and was an avid reader but most important to her was her family.

She was wife of the late Robert H. McIntyre, her husband of 29 years, who died in 1975, mother of the late Michael and David McIntyre and was predeceased by six sisters.

Florence is survived by her children, Robert McIntyre (Linda), Elaine Laymon (Charles) and James McIntyre (Cathy); twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass 11:00AM Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church, 136 Saxer Ave., Springfield, PA 19064 where friends may call from 9:45 until 10:45AM.

Burial Holy Cross Cemetery.
