Florence A. "Honey" Travers Bowe, 81 of Folsom, died February 6, 2012 at Taylor Hospital.
Born in Long Island, NY, she has lived at her late residence for 72 years.
Honey was last employed as an office manager/bookkeeper at H.A. DIffenbach Company in Folsom, retiring in 1985.
She was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church and also a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Class of 1948.
A woman who was devoted to her family, she especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter.
Honey also enjoyed music, singing, her back porch, birding and gardening.
She was the daughter of the late James H. and Florence Oberle Travers, and sister of the late Gloria Dougherty and John D. Travers.
Survivors: her husband of 60 years; Harry L. "Bud" Bowe, Jr, her children; James V. Bowe (Tuaoloa), Kathy A. Torrence, Susan M. Bowe and Eileen Bowe, and her granddaughter; Colleen Torrence.
Funeral Mass 10:30AM Friday, February 10, 2012 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park, PA.
Visitation; 9:30 to 10:15AM at the Church. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
