Obituary
Evelyn R. Davis Zimmerman, 89, a lifelong resident of Essington, died March 21, 2012 at her home.
Born in Tinicum Township, she was daughter of the late Alexander and Jeanette Ludwig Davis.
Evelyn was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star, but above all, devotion to her family was most important in her life.
She was wife of the late Joseph L. "Bud" Zimmerman, who died on December 23, 1979, grandmother of the late Kimberly Ann Zimmerman and sister of the late George C. Davis.
Survivors: mother of Joseph C. Zimmerman (Nancy) of Manahawkin, NJ and George L. Zimmerman (Patti) of Hanover, PA, also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service: 11 AM Wednesday, March28, 2012 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park
Visitation: after 10 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial: Edgewood Memorial Park
