Evelyn Anne Wilson, 89 of Aston, PA. died peacefully June 5th, 2021.

Evelyn enjoyed spending time at her home in Aston and the Delaware Beaches.

Born and raised in Eddystone, she was a graduate of Eddystone High School, class of 1951 where she played field hockey, basketball, was captain of the cheerleading team and voted most popular in the class.

Evelyn was a member of Eddystone U.M. Church and had a strong devotion to her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was the wife of the late John Y. Wilson, her husband of 24 years, who died in 1980; daughter of the late George G. and Mary Boles Wright and sister of the late Matthew, John and George Wright and Mary Jane Hinderhofer.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Karen Anne Thornton, John Y. Wilson, Jr. and Linda L. Wilson (Deborah Barbour); her siblings William H. Wright and Joan Bradigan; her grandchildren Adam Y, Thornton and Grace E. Wilson; also survived by best friend of 86 years Margaret Urey and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service 10:00AM Monday, June 14, 2021 at the Eddystone U.M Church, Ninth St. and Saville Ave., Eddystone, PA 19022 where friends may call after 9:00AM .

Graveside service 2:30PM at Lawn Croft Cemetery.
