Eugene P. Novoshielski, 59 of Glen Mills, died June 26, 2012 at Life Care Hospital in West Chester.

Eugene, an individual with Down Syndrome, was one of many pioneers in the deinstitutionalization movement; paving the way for others with disabilities to live meaningful and productive lives in the community.

Eugene was known to make others laugh and smile, with his joyful personality and sense of humor.
Throughout the years it was obvious to all that he possessed a strong will and strength of character. He will be greatly missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him.

He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Anna Mancinelli Novoshielski and his brother Peter Novoshielski.

Survivors; his sister and brother in law Cecelia and Brian Masella; sister Susanne Landino, also many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass 10:00AM Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston. Visitation 9:00 to 9:45AM at the church. Burial Immaculate Heart Cemetery.
