Obituary

Eugene R. "Gene" Fisher, 75, of Aston died on November 16, 2019 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Born in Lewisburg, PA, the first of his siblings to be born in a hospital, he was the son of the late Calvin C. and Katharine Dietrich Fisher. Gene resided in Levittown, PA before moving to Aston in 2012.

He was a graduate of Middleburg High School, class of 1960 and attended Carnegie College and Temple Universities. Gene was a Medical Technologist for Quest Diagnostics for 43 years before retiring in 2016 and was the former owner of Flower World. He was a member of Phi Delta Epsilon and the American Medical Technology Society and was President of the Fisher Family Reunion for 29 years. Gene enjoyed scuba diving, snorkeling, traveling, gardening, antiquing, flea markets, panning for gems, Longwood Gardens and following the financial world.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Calvin C. Fisher, Jr. and Shirley Sellers.

Gene is survived by his wife of four years, Tina M. Aulisa Fisher and their little boy Pug, Jacob; his children, Bruce D. Fisher and Julia Kathryn Jordan (Thomas); his grandchildren, Kevin Anthony Jordan (Cara) and Brian Christopher Jordan; his sisters, Phyllis Bilger and Nancy Balducci (Ed); also, his friend of 50 years, Jay Chauhan and numerous other friends.
