Obituary

Eugene Aha of Folsom Pa. peacefully passed away on Nov. 22, 2013, surrounded by his loving daughters. He was born in 1921 in Brooklyn, N.Y. where he attended Stuyvesant High School.

During WWII, Eugene was inducted into the Army Specialized Training Program (ASTP), and was also stationed in India and Iran. He married his childhood sweetheart Anne in 1948, and completed his B.E.E. at Cooper Union in 1949. He did post-graduate studies at Brooklyn Polytechnic. Mr. Aha had a remarkable career, designing motors for the Redstone Rocket, the lunar landing, and the Jarvik heart. He enjoyed opera, poetry and history, and spent his leisure time as a hobby carpenter. He was also a gifted storyteller.

Mr. Eugene Aha was predeceased by his beloved wife Anne (Ray) in 2005.

He is survived by his four daughters Anne Aha, Elizabeth Aha, Lorraine Aha (Paul Schnetkamp) and Carol Constantino (Jim). He also leaves three grandchildren Jennifer Constantino, Peter Schnetkamp and David Schnetkamp.

Memorial Mass: 11 AM Friday at St. Andrew the Apostle R.C. Church,3500 School Lane Drexel Hill.
