Elsie Adamek Muehsam, 97, of Swarthmore died August 6, 2017 at Neighborhood Hospice.  Born in Erie, a daughter of the late Carl and Stephanie Wagner Adamek, she lived in Media before moving to her late residence 35 years ago.

Elsie was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and had previously been very active at Nativity Lutheran Church.  She was also a member of the Crozer Hospital Auxiliary and volunteered at Fairs Acres and was a companion to the elderly.

She was wife of the late John F. Muehsam and sister of the late Otto C. Adamek, Carl Adamek and Hilda Adamek.

She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Garner (Craig) and Ellen Settar (Charles), her siblings Margaret, Marion and Richard Adamek, also seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service 10:30 AM Friday, August 25, 2017 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 436 N. Oak Avenue, Clifton Heights, PA 19018, where friends may call 9:30 to 10:15 AM.  Burial Arlington Cemetery.
