Elsie M. Ferguson Hayden, 89, of Springfield died September 9, 2017. Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late William and Elnora Morrison Ferguson and resided in Folcroft before moving to her late residence 47 years ago.

Elsie was a sweet and loving woman devoted to her family, who collected frogs and loved QVC and Wheel of Fortune. She loved all holidays, especially Christmas, when she hosted Christmas Eve for family and friends for over 60 years.

Elsie was predeceased by her sons, Wayne Hayden and William Hayden (Kay) and her seven siblings.

Survivors: wife of Ralph P. Hayden, Jr., her husband of 70 years; mother of Ralph P. Hayden, III (April) and Colleen A. Larkin (Timothy); sister of Robert Ferguson, Fay Lawrence and Hazel Lockwood; grandmother of Michelle, Ashley, Tessa, Dawn, Shawn (Joanna) and Travis Hayden, Tara Tompkins (Matt), Brandyn Larkin (Liz), Craig Shylock (Olivia) and Trevor Shylock (Maggie); also, 3 great grandchildren

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Thursday, September 14, 017 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, where friends may call after 9:30 AM

Burial: Edgewood Memorial Park
