Ellamae Venuti, 79

Devoted to her family

Ellamae Venuti, 79, of Aston died July 19, 2011 at her home. Born in Linwood, Mrs. Venuti lived in Marcus Hook prior to moving to her late residence 57 years ago.

Mrs. Venuti and her late husband John founded Venuti's Hardware in 1959. She will always be remembered for the love she shared with her family and friends, her excellent cooking, and the joy she got from watching the Phillies. She was a member of The Church of St. Joseph.

Ellamae was the loving wife of the late John Venuti who died January 11, 2003 after 53 years of marriage, daughter of the late William Stanton and Bernice Hutchins Williams, and sister of the late Williams S. Williams, Jr. and Ruth Williams.

Survivors: Mother of Nancy Moore, John Venuti, Jr., Patti Suter, Ginny Colameco, Bill Venuti and Mariann Logue, sister-in-law of Carrie Venuti, sister of Helen Aulisa, Virginia Getz, Thelma Smith, Robert and John Williams, also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Saturday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Road, Aston

Visitation: 8 to 10:15 AM Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial: Mount Hope Cemetery
