Elizabeth V. "Betty" Goodale Alexander, 85, died September 3, 2011 at Brinton Manor Nursing Home. Born in Aston Mills, Mrs. Alexander was a lifelong resident of Aston. She graduated from Media High School, Class of 1945 and was employed as a Nursing Assistant in 2-North at Riddle Hospital.


She was a former member of Upland U.M. Church and a member of Mount Hope U.M. Church, Aston Lioness Club, Aston Seniors, Village Green Women's Club and OBG's. Most important to Betty was her devotion to her family.


She was wife of the late John S. "Jack" Alexander who died June 6, 2001 and daughter of the John Scott and Jean Humble Goodale.


Survivors: mother of Jack S. Alexander, Jr. (Toni), Randi B. Alexander, Jeffrey S. Alexander and Julie A. Greisiger, grandmother of David Alexander and Samantha Greisiger, also survived by great-grandchildren.


Funeral Service: 8 PM Thursday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Road, Aston


Visitation: after 7 PM at the funeral home.
