Elizabeth J. "Betty" Stewart Giordano, 73, of Ridley Park died May 11, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Giordano was born in Philadelphia and resided there until moving to her late residence 21 years ago. She was a former member of St. Barnabas R.C. Church. Betty was employed as an executive secretary at A.I. Dupont in Philadelphia for 35 years, retiring in 2000.

Betty was wife of the late John A. Giordano who died in 1988, daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Logan Stewart and sister of the late Barbara A. Stewart.

Survivors: mother of Maureen E. Mitchell and Joseph J. Mitchell (Maryann), sister of William Stewart (Mary Anne) and Geraldine McCleary (William), grandmother of Colleen and Danny O'Malley, Leah, Michelle, Lauren and Joseph Mitchell, great-grandmother of Lexy O'Malley.

Funeral Liturgy: 10:30 AM Tuesday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park

Visitation: after 9:30 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial: SS Peter & Paul Cemetery
