Elizabeth L. McNamara Holefelder, 87 of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Aston, died January 8, 2013 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital.
Born in Conshohocken, she lived in Chester and Village Green until moving to Florida one year ago.
She was formerly employed by the County of Delaware at the Court House in Media and was also a local business owner at the Village Green Senior Community.
In her youth, she enjoyed dancing and roller skating at the Great Leopard Rink with her best friend Mary, and where she met her husband. An avid reader, Mrs. Holefelder enjoyed golf, traveling, especially her trip to Ireland and was a Phillies fan, but most important to her was her family.
She was wife of the late John J. Holefelder her husband of 30 years, who died in 1976, daughter of the late Thomas and Rose Hushen McNamara and sister of the late Rita McNamara Miller and Robert McNamara.
Survivors: Her son John J. "Jack" Holefelder, Jr. (Faith) her daughter Joan Holefelder Gains (William); her brother Donald McNamara; grandchildren Diane Holefelder, Liza Warfel, John. J Holefelder, III and Sharon Holefelder McKenna; seven great-grandchildren and her extended family John, Michael, Colleen and Casey Haggerty.
Funeral Mass 10:45AM Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston where friends may call from 9 to 10:30 AM. Burial St, Francis deSales Church Cemetery.
