Elizabeth M. Ford of Aston died on July 28, 2016 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Bryn Mawr, she lived in Philadelphia before moving to her late residence 46 years ago. She was a member of The Church of St. Joseph, the Aston Seniors and the Retired Workers from BP Refinery.

Elizabeth was very proud of her Irish Heritage. She loved Irish music and Irish stepdancing. "Betty" enjoyed traveling and visits to casinos. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Betty was the mother of the late Kathleen Doherty (Brendan) and daughter of the late Peter J. and Catherine Quinn McCormick.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, John C. Ford; her children, Marty McKenna (Sue), Marie Reilly (James), Regina McCoy (Mark Clineff), Maureen Melaragno (Albert), Mike McKenna (Cindy) and John J. Ford; 22 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and one great great grandson; also many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass 11:00AM Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at The Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Road, Aston where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45AM. Burial St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery.
