Elizabeth J. "Bette" Butz Anderson, 90, died August 15, 2019 at Prospect Park Health and Rehab. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Elizabeth Millis Butz. Bette was raised in Lansdowne and resided in Drexel Hill, Havertown and Ridley Park before moving to her late residence.

Bette was a graduate of Upper Darby High School and was employed as a Secretary before retiring. She was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lansdowne. Bette had a love for music that she shared with her son, Don.

She was predeceased by her sons, Donald Lewis and Gary Lewis; and her husbands, Charles Husson and Charlie Anderson.

Bette is survived by her daughter-in-law, M. Kathryn "Kate" Lewis; her granddaughters, Dawn Hope (Sean McCaskill) and Jill Ward (Mike); and her great grandchildren, Kevin Mathis, Kyle Mathis, Anne McCaskill, Jon Mathis, Josh Mathis, Connor Ward, Ellie Ward and AJ Ward.
