Elizabeth M. "Betsy" Talone (nee Dougherty), 77, of Woodlyn died on November 7, 2024 at her home.  Born in Darby, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred Sell Dougherty, she lived in Chester before moving to Woodlyn 36 years ago.

Betsy was a graduate of Notre Dame High School for Girls, class of 1965 and had been employed as a Mortgage Underwriter at Franklin Mint Credit Union.   Betsy always liked watching the Phillies and golf on television, she was also an avid reader.  Betsy loved going to the beach and enjoyed the Arts, traveling, and the opera but most important was her loving family, especially her cherished grandchildren.

Loving wife of the late Robert J. Talone, Jr., mother of Robert M. Talone and Joseph T. Talone, grandmother of twins Joseph T. Talone, Jr. and Sophia M. Talone, sister of Carolyn Dougherty Swan (Edward), Kenneth Dougherty (Danielle) and the late Joseph Patrick Dougherty and Michael Patrick Dougherty, sister-in-law of Victoria McKenna (Bill), she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park where relatives and friends may call 9:15 to 10:15 AM.  Burial Eastlawn Cemetery.
